my camellia sinesis
A lot of moms across America received a cup of tea this morning for a Mother’s Day present. This mummy received a tea plant! 
Here’s my Camellia sinensis, bought today from the unfriendly folks at Berkeley Horticultural Nursery. I have two two-year old plants due to arrive any day now from the super cool people at Camellia Forest Nursery in North Carolina… as per the suggestion of Team Tea over at Sunset. Planting, care, harvesting, drying, etc all yet to be researched but at least we’re on the road to a good cuppa.
